HILLS TRI CLUB AWARDS

Club Champion Award

Male and Female award. Accumulates all the points for the distance races below.

Max points listed only:

1 x Ironman = 150 (max)

2 x Ultimate/70.3/T100 = 200 (100 max each)

3 x Classic/Standard/Club* Distance = 225 (75 max each)

4 x Sprint Distance (incl. up to 4 Hills Tri Series sprint distance races) = 200 (50 max each)

1 x Enticer/Super Sprint = 30 (max)

1 x Aquathlon = 50 (max)        1 x Aquabike = 50 (max)        1 x Duathlon = 75 (max)

*Bonus Points for NSWTri Club Champs participation:

Standard Triathlon = 50 points
Junior Super Sprint  = 20 points
Standard Aquabike = 40 points
Volunteering = 25 points
Sprint Triathlon = 30 points
Technical Official = 30 points
Sprint Aquabike = 20 points

Distance Awards

Male and Female awards for:

Award given for 1st place only (acknowledgement for 2nd and 3rd).

Calculation:

The points for each race are based on a calculation of the athlete’s age group time and the winner’s time. Then multiplied by the points available for that race.

To be eligible for Hills Club Awards you will need to be a financial member of HTC at the date of each race.

Ensure you enter as a Hills Tri Club member when you register for races

To avoid the Results Team missing your races email your name, name of the race, distance, and date of the race to    results@hillstriclub.com.au

Hills Tri Series 

Enticer and Sprint distance winners accumulated over the season. First female and male in each distance. Points as above, however if you race four or more, points increase to 40 (Enticer) and 75 (Sprint) for the fourth and subsequent races.

Other Awards

The John Edmonson Memorial Trophy

Most improved member throughout the Hills Tri Series. John Edmonson died from Adult Sudden Death Syndrome in 2004 after finishing Ironman Australia in Forster.

Hills Spirit Award

This award acknowledges good sportsmanship, courage & inspiration.

Kim Wilson Memorial Award

This is the President’s award to a member who has made a substantial contribution to the club throughout the season.

Junior Awards

Roy Preedy Award

For the best junior female athlete throughout the season.

Mick Ferris award

For the best junior male athlete throughout the season.

Best Junior Female and Male ages 16-19

Best Junior Female and Male ages 13-15

Best Junior Female and Male ages 12 and under
